🧬 What Is Human Design?

Human Design is a modern self-discovery system combining:

  • Astrology
  • I Ching
  • Chakras
  • Kabbalah
  • Quantum Physics

It’s essentially your energetic blueprint—how you’re uniquely wired to operate, make decisions, and interact with the world.

To generate your chart, you’ll need:

  • Birth date
  • Birth time
  • Birth location

Your chart is called a BodyGraph, and it reveals your:

  • Type
  • Strategy
  • Authority
  • Centers
  • Gates & Channels
  • Profile

🔮 The 5 Human Design Types

Each type represents your energetic role in the world. Mikaela breaks down the types and shares how Human Design can help you honor your energy—especially as a beauty professional, healer, or empath.

Welcome to Unwritten Beauty Talks, your unfiltered beauty resource, where we talk about all things beauty related and aging well from the inside out. I'm your host, Katina, master esthetician, and integrative health practitioner. Thanks for joining us.So McKayla, I am so excited to have you on today. Thank you. Because you and I have had a virtual friendship for so long. I feel like I know you, like I feel like we, yeah. We've shared a lot of life together. Mikayla is the expert in human design. She is fantastic. She knows literally everything, which I am not an expert about. So anytime anyone ever brings anything up to me, I'm always like, go to her. Like I direct everything to your podcast and your page.'cause you just have so much knowledge. Thank you. I it is definitely the thing that I love and I'm obsessed with and so I love to be the go-to person, especially for. All the, people in our industry and their clientele, and I was just telling you before we started that just over the weekend, I put all of my one hour master classes on YouTube because I was like, I just want it to be super easy access and, just okay, one stop shop, come learn about all of the things and. Yeah. Just be that for the people and like I said, for their clientele. I think it's nice. It's like this whole other weird little niche within the beauty industry. Yeah, no, and we were talking about earlier I explained it to my husband. It's therapy for my soul, basically. Like you get this beautiful chart that is. If I'm explaining it correctly, that's basically like your sole design of how you're supposed to, like what's best for you. And like you and I had talked, gosh, was it a year ago or a little over a year ago now? Is that all I don't know. I was like, is it two is two years? Oh my gosh is two years. I think it's been longer. Yeah. Wow. Gosh. And you read MyChart. It just, it blew my mind. There were things that I knew. I was like, okay, there's thing, lifestyle choices I need to change, yes. To be more aligned with myself. But for someone that's new to human design, how would you describe it? There's all the technical stuff that I could be like it's this, that, and the other. But the fact that you just said it's therapy for your soul. I 1000000% agree with that. It is gosh. And you also said because it's like things that you knew and I like, that's a huge part of my job. It sounds funny to be like telling people things that they know, but to have a person and who understands a system completely outside of you, most of the people I work with, I do not know them in any capacity. And just to be able to like, like affirm who they are for them. Is, it's just like this next level thing, and it's almost like you don't know how amazing it is until you experience it. A friend of mine and I were talking, he was like, you could even go research and you could get it. It's it's all like even the human filter that it comes through, like what my own design is about, is very much about empowering people to love and accept themselves. You can listen to somebody else or get a, have a session or, like just read some stuff off the internet. It's not gonna have the same impact, I guess I would say. So I agree. Yeah. Talking to you was so different because if not, I was really confused. Totally confused and I think one of, one of my. Things is that I get very excited to tell people all the amazing things about themselves. So I'm like the hype girl for the universe. Do you know what I mean? I love that. Yeah. Yeah. That's beautiful. You need a sweatshirt that says that, right? How cute would that be? At least so cute. Yeah. So it is a system. It's a system. It's lake. You'd plug it in like astrology. So you're using your birth date, location and time and out comes this crazy looking chart that has all kinds of, numbers and symbols and decimal places and colors and, just a mess basically. And I look at this, the way I describe looking at a chart is reading lab results from the universe. Because I come from a very medical background. I was dermo plastics like. For an over 2020 year career in aesthetics. And so I just look at that. I'm like, I'm just reading like the, all this stuff makes sense to me. I'm like, oh yeah, okay, so this means this about you and that and da dah. And then she'd be able to communicate that. So I'm like translator, for people. Just like being an aesthetician where you're like, you are the professional, like you understand the ingredients and the procedures and all of the things and what's what that person needs to hear to have their best skin, and the things that they could do and things, they're gonna help them, so that's why I will refer myself as like the ORIC esthetician because I'm like, I'm an esthetician for your energy. Like I help you in that regard. After such a long career too, of just everything being external. And, I'm always like, I'm the first person to be like, I'm completely guilty of that. That at some point it just doesn't cut it anymore. Or you're like, I've done all the outside, everything looks good. Why do I still not feel complete? Or why does there still so feel like something's lacking or, whatever. And to be able to come in and polish stuff up for people is incredible. So it's yeah, your skin's on point, but. Your aura is too, like your energy and Yes, it's all good. Yes. Because we always have, we all know that person that comes into a room and you're just like, we love them, we appreciate them. But they're just like this ball of stress or energy, and it's like sometimes people just need guidance in different parts of their life too, and like Totally. I know I'm more, I come from a nutrition background, and then come into aesthetics and it's. It's the same thing. It's if things aren't operating correctly on the inside, same with your soul, and yes, your spirituality, like things are not going to go right everywhere else. It's not just about the outside. Totally. It's very much the whole like, mind, body, spirit, or all of the things if you, if emotionally you're off or your nutrition is not right. It's it's all different components of the same. Same thing. And so why is your spiritual, let's say your spiritual hygiene, your spiritual aesthetics, like why is that not an important piece of the big puzzle, too? And I think about that and you remember being young and just being like, wow, it's so interesting how you can look at somebody and maybe they're like, not. They're not your type, they're not super cute or something, but then you know them and their personality's just like off the charts and you're like, they are the most gorgeous thing on two legs. And then it can be, the rivers can be true. It's like somebody who is just, oh, they're so gorgeous and they're just an icky person. And that will completely change, how you think and feel about them. So I think it's it's definitely a system that really helps. To get everything on point, and it's cool too because yes, it's spiritual, but there's a lot of very practical insight and knowledge about, you buried within this as well. And I think it just answers a lot of, I. A lot of nagging questions or a lot of insecurities, things that we have. And it's so wild. So I used to not do this, but I have an intake form that I started like within the last year or two. So when people book sessions with me. And they, it never fails. It's it never fails to tickle me. It's every time, it was like Christmas morning. I love looking at people's charts. Every chart is beautiful to me. It's oh, but they'll, what? They'll write in these intake forms. They have all these, not a ton of questions, but a few. And it's like they speak their design, the words that they choose, the things that they think are a problem for them, and they're saying it. And I'm like, Uhhuh. Okay, cool. I see it in your chart, however. We just need to get this person seeing it differently. Because a lot of the stuff that we think are our worst qualities are actually our best qualities. We're just using it wrong. Like truly we're not. That I felt, whenever I talked to you, I was like, okay, I do have all these things. But I'm not doing it right. And I think it, it's once you discover that and then you hear that about yourself and you're like, wow, okay. All right. I'm. I haven't harnessed that correctly. So now I can, or you know what, that is a hangup of mine and I have a lot more grace. I do it all the time, like every single day I'm like, Ew, that was like not a cute thought. Or, like something. And then it's but I know where that came from and I'm okay with it, rather than being myself up for it. Like just, I view it differently. And I think that's, it's invaluable. It's just it's truly an invaluable a thing to learn about yourself. No I think that's beautiful. And I, have gone through anxiety. I'm sure you have too. And so I've gone through therapy and my therapist has always been like, find the thought that started all of it and recognize it. And whenever you recognize that thought, it does. You're like. Okay. It's okay, and you can let it go. Or you can accept it and be like, okay, what can I do to change this thought? Yeah. It's interesting that you bring up anxiety because there, there are a number of places in the chart that lives. And so when people Yeah, I have them. Oh yeah. You've got, we, typically we've all got something uhhuh, but it's wild because someone will say that and I'm like, yeah, I. Don't identify as like an anxious person. But struggled have, and on and off like my entire life with like major depressive disorder. It's in my chart. Really? It's in my chart. Yeah. Yeah. Oh my gosh. And like it's wild. It's it's also the funny. About this. So your sun gate, I'll give everybody something to look at. So if you go pull your chart, you can go to my website, McKayla mclean.com, get a free chart. You need those three pieces of information, date, location, exact time you get the thing up in the upper right hand corner, this will be on every chart there is, there's a column of numbers. Down the right side. That'll be black down the left side. That on my side it's pink. Traditionally it's red. I don't like the color red. I don't like pretty colors. So we're looking at the black side, the very top box. There's gonna be a circle with a.in the middle of it. That is the sun. That's the glyph or the symbol for the sun. If you look at anything astrological, that's what it's gonna show. And so your Sun gate is you're a Scorpio, I'm a Pisces, right? So it's like that's what we're talking about here. But then it gets more specific. Human design is extremely specific. Yes, astrology is a component of it, but it's like it gets so nuanced and I love that, right? Yeah. It's very different than like sodi, it goes so much deeper. Yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. So when you get a one of these gates, right? It's what it is it's a chunk of the sign, right? So it's a segment, it's a specific set of degrees. For you, the specific set of degrees of Scorpio or for me, Pisces. And then there'll be a decimal place and then it gets even more specific. And so you know, you're going down, like details My son, which is in everybody's chart. The sun. Should I little way back out and say this, the sun, no matter whose chart you're looking at, is the biggest energy in your chart. It's the greatest gift. It's how you shine the brightest. It's like all these wonderful things. So you know, again, you're a scorpion on Pisces. It's okay, you may or may not identify heavily with that, but then again, when you get into this and you're like, no, let's get more detailed. It's more nuanced about it. My son Gate is in. It, it's called the darkening of the light and the etching. I didn't tell everybody what, what all makes all this up? It's like astrology, the etching, the Kabbalah, the Hindu chakra system, quantum mechanics. There's like DNA stuff. There's all kinds of like crazy science. It's so cool. So cool. So it's, there's a million things happening and there is real science behind this too, which is wild. Back to that sun. So you're looking at that. It's the first number, not the decimal place. The decimal place means something, but we're not gonna go there yet. Or today but minus 36 and in the e chain. So that's where these gates come from, is called the darkening of the light. And it is the final one of, like the end of the cycle before like the rebirth happens in the springtime and everything. And it is one that when I see it in people's charts, I'm. You know what a sadness is like you understand depression, you understand these things, and it's it was so wild for me. I don't wanna cry, but like when I got into came into my world and I started learning about this, and I like understood that and was like, wait a minute, the thing that like plagues me the most and I'm always like please don't ever let me go back there. Like I don't wanna be swallowed up by the dark hole ever again. I'm like, that's my greatest gift. What? That's crazy. But because you, oh my God, I'm gonna get emotional with you because you know what it's like to be in that dark place, and so you can relate to people. Yeah. And you can guide them out of it. And I think it's just one of those things that's just if you haven't been through it, or if you don't understand the feeling, you know you can't help someone. No, it's, why do people get so passionate about going into aesthetics and specializing in something? Why isn't acne specialist so passionate about that? Probably because they had it themselves. And they lived through it. They know how miserable it is. They, know how life changing it is to fix that. It's so again you see these things that you hear and I'm like, it's crazy. This close my mind that something that truly that's been just. Absolutely what I had felt like most of my life was a complete curse. Like, why am I like this? What is this? Just to find that out. So that's the kind of like life changing, oh my gosh. Stuff I'm talking about with this where you're like, if you have stuff that you've always struggle with and always dealt with that you don't have an explanation for. Like, why am I like this? Why can't I be different? I'm like, girl.'cause probably you're not supposed to be different. You're supposed to see it a different way. You're supposed to use it a different way. Like I could wallow in that. I could just be depressed all the time instead of realizing the gift is that I'm supposed to help other people through it. That is the task that I've been given and I crossed a bear in this life. So we all have got that. So it's real. So to me, I'm like, oh, just, it's so cool to find these things out and it just, it helps you make sense of your life. You're like, this is why I've been through this. This is why I have these feelings. How can I project them in a different way? Totally. Wow. Can I make the anxiety work for me instead of against me? How is it a gift? How is it actually truly a gift superpower there? It's intuition. We're just we're not viewing it correctly. So I think a lot of times with with my work, I'm like, all I'm really doing is like I'm repackaging people and selling them back to themselves. You saw it this way, I know that. Yeah. Truly this way, let's like put all the pieces together a little bit better and here you go. Yes. And it's the same pieces. It's the, I, there was nothing about that. That is, it's, none of it is about being somebody different. It's about being you 10 times harder. It's about let's, let's just exfoliate that off. Let's just fluffer up a little bit, and like now you go back out there and it's it's the same thing, be like, oh, I don't like my nose, or I don't like this. And you're like, actually, it's your best feature, so let's highlight it. Let's put it on display, right? And how people do turn around things that they've really despised about their appearance. Turn that into, their calling card or whatever. It's the exact same thing with this with your energy body. That's beautiful. Sorry. Take a drink. No, please take a drink. No, that's, and I don't understand depression from. That aspect. But as a wife, as my husband has been through depression and some of the darkest, darkest days, like so seeing it like the pers your person and the person you love. Yes. And you wanna take everything away. I get it. But I have seen him since he's slowly worked through that, like using it to teach and to help people, like in his job and his, so in a different way than what you do, but it's still beautiful, unfortunately, we all, I feel go through our demons, and we have to figure out a way to do it in a healthy, way. Oh, totally. And I think that, that's what I think with this, it's it's a shortcut. It's sometimes I'll say it's therapy on steroids. It's it could have taken a million years to like maybe even find this stuff out about yourself or really see it and, to be able to harness it and work with it. Again, like I said, for you with the anxiety, it'd be like, oh my gosh, actually did you know, it's because you have an insane, ability to hear and a sense of timing and stuff. And so we interpret and this is a big one, like a lot of the anxiety stuff is because we're still running on a system that's very like caveman. But we live in a modern world, and so we're transferring it. It's like I'm not running from the, I'm not a little deer. I'm not running from the lion in the woods, which all of this stuff is geared toward keeping you safe, keeping you alive. So instead we just, we transferred onto something else. You're like, oh, it's because I'm actually not like this. This more caveman system isn't even able to. Do what it's meant to do. It's not able to process things. And so it's fun to be able to tell people that stuff and here's a little tips and tricks. Okay. Do a little bit more of this or do a little bit of that, and it's actually going to help you in those ways. I never claim that it's, it is like therapy, but it, but to me, I'm like. But it is, I can see that though. It's almost, how do I put this? My grandpa passed away a couple years ago and that's, I think what spurred me actually coming and talking to you. I think that was, I was thinking about that. Yes. Yes. Yeah.'cause it was like, he was like my dad and so it was like a really dark place. And also, but. It's had me think a lot about him in different ways of that beautiful wisdom of being in your late nineties, like I almost feel like human design gives you that wisdom that you would get Yeah. Later on in life that you start finding out about yourself. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like I feel each year as I get older, you find out a little bit more about yourself. Yes. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, right? Yes. It depends. Yes. But do you agree with that? I do. And I think if anything, it, the older you get, the more comfortable you become with yourself anyway. Typically. Yeah. And that's what I think that this shortcuts is yes. The ease of being you. I'm, and again, it's very much in my design to want things to be like very natural, very easy. Like I don't like it when people are gonna put on and. Fake or anything. It's that's such a huge turnoff to me. Yeah. And you and I can read right through it. And so when when you learn again about this stuff and like I said, it's like, it's typically things that you are not shocked to hear. You're shocked to, people are shocked to hear it from a stranger who doesn't know them, but they're not shocked to hear it as far as yeah, that sounds like me. Yeah, you're definitely talking about me like. So that's the part where you're like, okay, just relax into being you. I think I've said it before where I feel like, ugh, it's like finding all this stuff out is like taking a shower and putting all your skincare on a meeting your like coziest robe where you're just, you feel like the most, like at home. Like I don't have to pretend or anything. It just feels very natural and very, just very good. Yes. I think that's beautiful. I don't think we've ever discussed, or at least, I don't know, how did you get into this and how do you apply it like with aestheticians? I know that's two separate questions, but I am so curious'cause you've given me obviously some wisdom. Like now I'm really good about, I clear the energy in between clients. And I can tell that's made a difference in first off myself, but also in the energy that I present to them, if that makes sense. Yes. Because I felt like I was giving, because you explained to me it makes sense, I give all day. And I was an empty cup at the end of the day, and then I would go home with my husband and I'm like, honey, like you get this. And I've been so much better where I'm not feeling like that empty cup as much. There's the give and take. Sometimes it happens, but I feel like that cleansing really does make a difference. Yeah. Oh I completely agree. I would say as far as like with estheticians, I'm like, we'll go backward, but I know, sorry. No, it's okay. With people I have a course that it currently is unpublished. I'm trying to decide like how I wanna go about it, but it has to do with using this stuff for like your marketing, right? For people in aesthetics. Oh, you should do that. Yes. Because again, going back to like why telling that little bit about my Sun Gate and finding that out and being like, oh my god. Okay girl. So and I will say this, it's still hard for me to talk about'cause I get choked up about stuff and I'm like, I'm, I cry very easy and you know all that. It's okay. I started this. Week. So I'll cry with you. We'll cry together. Oh God, this is the podcast for it. And so I that out and be like, wow, okay, so there's specific things in a chart that I could really highlight even specific words and traits and things about myself that would be like the big neon sign billboard for me if I were an esthetician still like in the treatment room, like normal. And I. What, what would I do? What would I say? How would I wanna present? What are the things that I want to show up on social media and talk about? Because that will automatically magnetize the correct people to me because this is what I decided after, all the years of working was like, yes, okay. People, I always thought they came to me because they wanted the most meticulous attention to detail. Aesthetician, who like knows her stuff and all that. And then you realize like you can see other people who you know, are not as proficient with their work, which is facts, right? But people love them. And I was like, what is that? Like why would you not wanna come to the best? I get it though. Yeah. But you are what you attract almost, like you're, what you attract. I, it's, you're what you attract, but also I think it's, you have a particular. Medicine, right? I'll look at things in people's charts and I'm like, oh, they're medicine for me because that's something that, MyChart needs to be around. So that's my theory is that you really wanna highlight and feature all of these things about yourself and really be super authentic according to your design. And again, when you learn deep enough about it, not just the surface stuff, but the deeper stuff, you know that you're like, whoa, okay, that so is me. It's so on the nose. So if I took those four things there's something in your in your design culture, your incarnation cross, you can think of like the four pillars. And when I, in my marketing thing, it's that's what I talk about. I'm like, these are your pillars. Okay. If you used those as your brand pillars and you spoke about that and you're really like, I. You made that part of your story.'cause it is and it's like there isn't any getting around that it is part of your story. But the more that you do that, the more that again, you're going to attract the right people who are like, that's exactly what I need. So it goes back to the treatment room. It's yes, you could be whatever type of practitioner you are, but your energy is the medicine for people. And that's the part that's going to bring, again, bring in the right people that are meant for you. And then there's some people, it's but they need a different, they need something else. And that's where they're gonna pick their provider ba, based off of so that's how I see, that's definitely how I see that. And and then like you said, like clean clearing the energy and things. That's I think important given how many people you come into contact with. And it's just, there's that exchange and people are drawn to you for a reason and sometimes it's because you are that listening ear. They, I. It's always such a joke that we are like people's therapist. Yes. And then it's like, when are you prepared for that? Do you have tools and things that you feel really comfortable? Or are you just like the person that they dump on? And so I think it's important for practitioners to have specific practices like I shared with you some things, okay, do this, do that because you are charts prone to that. I think a lot of us really take on a lot. I know I have in the past when you don't have the awareness and then you learn about yourself and you're like, oh, okay, I'm susceptible to this or to that. People are drawn to, this for me. And it just gives you different perspectives and you can go about your day and your work from a very healthy place for you rather than, I don't know what hit me like. That's how it used to feel, right? Yeah. Yeah. You're like, oh, okay. Yes. And I've had so many people, like even brand new, I'll meet them and they'll start crying or they're like, I'm so sorry. And they start apologizing. I'm like, please do not apologize. I'm like, there is something about, it's a me thing. I was like, I'm so happy you're comfortable and I am judgment free. I do not judge. I'm here for you. And it's just, it's one of those things like. Okay. Can I tell you? Yes. Okay. Because it like, I got your chart back here. Because if somebody says something like I said, people will say stuff and I'm like, I know exactly where to look and be like, she had this, you have a gate. I actually also have this gate. It's part of my incarnation cross. I said the pillars, right? Yours is in a different place. It is. If we're talking prosperity. This is involved in yours. This is actually major. Major prosperity placement is how you're meant to serve others. So it's funny. Okay, I was talking to somebody about this just the other day. I was like, there's the, my job is to be an aesthetician on the surface, but then there's your like, but my undercover job is to be this. Oh, that's, do things to look at that right through that lens. So for you, the way that you're meant to serve people it's considered a vocation placement is, it's being a humanitarian, it is being, they always say that those of us that have this particular energy in our charts, that it like supersizes our aura, and people are attracted to it because they sense that feeling of I'm accepted here. This is a safe space. This is, yes. So you're doing like, you're doing something just literally by being you're serving. Oh, you feel good though that I give people that? Yeah. Yeah. Isn't that so cool? It's an energy of extremes and sometimes it gets talked about in a funny way that I really don't care for that. It's oh, you don't do well with routine and this, that and the other. And I'm like, or it's that you've had extreme life experiences for the per, again, there's a reason why have you had extreme? And it doesn't always mean bad. And I could definitely say for myself, I have definitely had extreme life experiences, but it's intended so that you can better relate to. More people. You are accepting because you understand people, like you've walked a mile in different people's shoes, you get it. So you're like, yes, I am a safe space. Like there, it would say humans and animals even are attracted to people with this because they're just like. It's okay. There's no judgment here. Like truly, like my husband's always he's I swear, you just look at people and you just can see them. And I'm like, I don't know what to tell you. I'm I don't know. Yeah. But it's oh, it just, I have to feel so good around that, it's incredible. That's awesome. But that does make sense why I have, that happen all the time, right? Yeah. So what brought you into this? I have to know like how did you just start reading a book one day? What happened? As I already said, I'm a Pisces and we are I. Considered like the most spiritual, like of the, all the zodiac and talk about it in Walk a Mile and everybody's shoes were the last one. So that's the astrological theory is like we have experienced everything through everybody else and it's very empathic and all that. So from the time I was a little kid, I was always into anything. Like that, I had a magic gabel, I had the worry dolls. I, I had my little bible, I had, like all, it didn't matter what it was just like everything is, whatever. Yeah. So I was really into astrology for ever, for a really long time. And then I was trying to think of like the date my daughter was born in 2013, and I don't think, I think it was like after that, but not long. Just one day it popped up, when you're into stuff and it's oh, this is just another, it's another thing of the things that I'm into. And I feel like it found me, in that regard. Yeah. And I was like, Ooh, oh, okay. And like off down the rabbit hole I went. Now I find it really interesting again to, to then consider my own chart in this regard because it's like, it's cut out for it. It truly is. Like everything in that, I'm like, wow, okay. I, the more I know, the more I'm like, yeah, this was on purpose. So it just came into my life and took over. There's part of my design that's very much about being obsessive, and I'm like, Ugh. Yep. When I was little, I wanted to be a doctor and it was like, and then I was super serious in ballet. It was like, there's only ever like one thing, it's like everything skin. All my energy goes to that. And this kind of just came in and took over. So I was like, you thought astrology was cool? Okay. Wait till you find out about this. And it just, it's a system that brings like so many things together. My brain work. Again, it's in my design. My brain works like that. Like connecting all of the dots and seeing how all of it makes, and we've done a session where I'm like, okay, let me look at this version of your chart and okay, this is happening and this is, this has to do with your purpose and okay, but I like this. All right. My brain just pieces it all together. So I guess that's really it. It was just like. It just happened. I got super into it. I love to study and I went down all the rabbit holes and just became super obsessive and I didn't actually read for anybody until 2020. It was during the pandemic that everything went crazy. Oh, really? So that's what like started the whole thing? Yeah, because I was doing it, but it was like from a. I'm, I read, I research, it's but I would never put myself out there as, somebody who does this or anything. Even though like in my heart, it's what I loved. And I, it was so bad.'cause I can never remember who it was. It was not somebody I even knew. But someone finally asked me was like, would you read my chart for me? Because I knew I was into it. And that just was like from the floodgates. During the pandemic, I worked all day, every day. Oh my gosh. Reading chart, like I would do back to back sessions, like the entire time when we were in lockdown because Okay. I'm gonna do, gonna give you another little nugget, like things to find out about your chart. I, there's something called your cross. I already mentioned you have your incarnation cross. Mine is the cross of crisis, and that sounds ooh. That's not cute. And then you find out like, oh, that actually means that I am meant to come into people's lives during times of crisis. Oh, when did we work together? Yes. A time of crisis. It was, yeah. So I am supposed to enter people's lives, help them through, their moments of crisis make them feel good about themselves. And it may again just that's exactly what I do. Like people find me at those times. And I am equipped now, to be able to help, like essentially walk them through that. But at the time, you have no idea. It's just, you're just doing your thing. But I think how much more would you live your life with a sense of purpose if you knew these things about yourself that you're like, this is really what I'm coded to do. And the way that I'm meant to help people gives you a completely different, perspective on things. That's so cool. Is there any recommendations that you have? Obviously, I know human design is so specific per person, so it's hard to go, but I know there's, okay. Don't quote me. There's like manifesters and generators and other things and yep. Are there different things that you would be like, hey, like for this person, like just for a listener at home that maybe they could start implementing to maybe help reset or help recharge themselves? Yes. I think if you, we'll go super, super simple. If you are a manifester, a projector, or a reflector, they need more rest. More rest, more less demands, all of that. And then for the generators slash manifesting generators, technically one and the same, but they get separated. We, because we're in that camp, it's like we're meant to do what we love. For us, it's like we're the classic, do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life. So saying no more to things that really don't make you happy. When it sounds super simple. It is not,'cause we're very much, it's so hard conditioned, or, okay, sure. Uhhuh,'cause it's always yeah, of course I can do that. It's just because I can doesn't mean that I should. And it's a really wild thing. And even asking me about this, it's like. Doing this now, it's it makes me so happy. There's when I sit down with somebody and like I said, read a chart or something and I'm like, this is the best, this is the best. Love that. And I like half the time I'm going, the person probably has no idea what I'm even talking about, but I, they, but for someone like us, we're sacral people. Our excitement just boosts everything. So if I'm excited or you are excited, it is like they don't even have to comprehend. They're feeding off your energy, so you are like helping to lift them up. And like I said, a huge part of my design is really about empowering people to love and accept themselves. It sounds so generic. It's really not. It's super specific to my design. And I'm like, that's what people come to me for. I used to think they came to me for perfect skin. It's oh, you were coming to me for my energy, just like somebody would Now it's like different appointments, different things that I'm doing. Yeah. But it's meant to be the same, if not a better outcome, honestly. You know that. It's I'm boosting you. I'm piping you up. I'm making everything feel better. You feel good about you again in a way that maybe you didn't before. Yeah, and there's something so beautiful. When like I finish for example, like a client in the treatment room, I could have saw 10 or 12 that day, and I walk out and I'm still excited. I'm tired. I'm probably hungry, but I'm excited. Yes. Do you know what I mean? You get like that little skip in your step. You're like, I help someone today, and they're happy. That's us. Or Yes, or just like I made them feel good. Like I'm a gid. I get high off of it. It's. It's my high. I don't need drugs. I don't need alcohol. Nope. I just need my job. No, truly we're designed to work. Yeah, we are. We're actually designed to work, and so when we're doing the correct work, it gives us life. I love it. It's like we, it's like I could do it all day long. I could do it all day every day and not get tired of it. That's when you know if you are a generator or manifesting generator, doing the right thing. When you get a little, skipping your stuff, you're like, keep it on. Yes. This is it. Yes. You're like I can't get enough. That's when you know you're like, you're in the zone. Okay, so I told you I went to therapy and I don't mean to be like sad, I don't know if you and I discussed it, but I had an ectopic pregnancy last year. Lost my left fallopian tube. Anyways, long story short, because of the abortion laws in the state of Florida they would not treat me because it is considered an abortion. Anyways, yes, and whenever you're in pain and all of these things are going on and it's an emergency. Yeah, so it's. I went through this whole journey of basically feeling wronged if that makes sense. Because I'm so big on trying to make others feel right and feel good about themselves. And so that was really challenging for me. But I will say I'm doing a lot better now. It made me reset. Like from whenever I had talked to you, I started where I started booking a lunch break, which I never did before during my workday. So I started booking a lunch break and then all of those things happened and I. I noticed I was going backwards. Like I wasn't taking a lunch anymore. I wasn't packing, or I wasn't even eating in the morning. I just, it made me think for the, short time I was pregnant. I didn't take care of myself in any way, shape, or form. And it gave me the biggest reality check which I think any of those things always do. Yeah. But it made me see, okay, what do I need to do to be better? And what do I need to do to find myself? And so you'll have to tell me if this like slightly resonates with my chart and anyway.'cause I'm really curious. I have been, as soon as I wake up, I eat now. I drink a lot of water. I officially in the new year, I've been simplifying my days, where now I'm gonna work 10 to six versus before I was doing nine to seven. I have an hour and a half drive, so you know, whenever you add the I know. Isn't that crazy? Oh my goodness. I know. I'm a crazy person. And I was doing five days a week and now I'm four and I take one Saturday off a month. Okay. Now I still have all my other side things, as do I still dabble because this is what I. I love this, like we talked about. This is what gives me energy and fills my soul. But I guess, and I don't know if it'll be beneficial for our listeners, but what would, what is my next step, Mikayla. I don't know what to do. I, oh my goodness. I'm like, I just, actually today I messaged my manager, and I was like, Hey, like I have to simplify, and I felt so guilty that I was taking my hours down. And she's oh my gosh. Of course you're the one that, you're the only one that works that amount of hours. And it still hurts me. Isn't that funny? Yes. Oh goodness. I think we, I know so much to download on you. I'm sorry. No I am going, oh my gosh. We again, sacral people. It's just so because we can, we will do it even though it's not good for us necessarily. Like there, there's that level of I could do this all day, but, not to my own detriment. That's one thing. But I will say, I like looking at things. You, I already mentioned, oh, you have this wonderful sense of timing, but even that is like understanding timing. Timing is a huge gift for you. So working with that. What is healthy for me, right? What is a healthy schedule? What should I be, where do I need to tighten things up? And it's interesting you saying like all the side things and,'cause again, generators were like a bit more, I. Singular as far as it doesn't, it's not all the things.'cause I've had people say, oh, you do so much. And I'm like, I really don't feel like I do. But I guess they're all in the same category, that's what I was getting at. Feel all. It's not like I'm going off and doing fitness, even though I enjoy it, I'm not teaching. You know Exactly. Pilates on the side. No, that's, no, that's exactly it. And that's what I was getting at was like, you or I, it's yes, you might have all the side quests, but at the same time there's always related to the main show. Yes. The main goal. It's always, yes. It's it's just, to me it's just like different branches of off that same tree. It's not a brand new tree, or anything. Yeah. So I think, making sure that you're giving yourself enough, like enough time. The other thing I would say to you. What, like the your circle like tighten, tightening that up. That's a big piece in design. Yeah. I need to work on that. Okay. Okay. It's hard. Yeah. People probably look at you and is, and I'm being specific about what I'm seeing is that. Looking at you like you're gonna be the one to save or fix them. Yes. I feel like that in all, most of my friendships yes. Yeah. And it's hard. Yes. And knowing, like how tight to keep the circle because you also have what I would almost even say a competing energy in your chart that is like. The welcome wagon that everybody's welcome here, that makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. And it's, and all this stuff I'm talking about is like their emotional energies, and again, things you've already said in this conversation alone, but really seeing like everyone and just being like, oh, people and loving them and, there's there's a lot of that, but I think for your own sort of like health and wellbeing is making sure that. We're, we are just not overdoing it in that space. You there's something else that's catching my eye too is that you have the desire and the motivation to be somebody who is like a fixer. Yes I take care of people, I see what's wrong, so I need to be the one to fix them. And saying like you felt. Feel guilty. Yeah. Yeah. It's a, I do, because I was going through it and I'm like, oh my God. I'm like, okay, going from nine to seven, then 10 to six, that's six hours. That could be six people. That's how my brain works. Versus, oh, you could, yeah. Get more sleep, workout, eat healthier. Like I am getting close to having a thyroid condition and health issues if I don't take care of myself. You know what I mean? So it's like totally. It's like a wake up call. Hey, like this is the time where if you don't do something now, in the future it's going to hurt you. But, and so I know that it's like part of my brain knows that, and the other half is no, Uhhuh. It's funny that you say that too.'cause I remember toward the end when I was like, okay, I'm going to shift into a different version of my career. And I was like but what will my patients do? They come to me, like who's gonna treat them the way that I treat them, because I know. Attachment issues. Yes. And also, I just like I said before and see there's a trait that again, you and I both share. It's like being incredibly meticulous. I'm like, I know from being treated by other people where I'm like, they might be wonderful. They're great, they're fine, whatever. But it's like the absolute attention to detail and knowing like I'm going to, you know what I'm saying? I do. Yes. Like I know I can't leave you in somebody else's hands and expect you to be taking care of the way that I would take care of you. Yes. And feeling guilty over that, even though the job itself is like not making me happy anymore. And again, this is where being a generator, you're like, oh, so I'm still doing a disservice. Because if me as a generator is meant to do what I love, therefore I put off good energy that's actually going to rub off, it's gonna infect people in the best way possible. I'm not doing it. I'm up in my mind. So human design, very much like your mind versus everything else. And the mind is not the boss. We're just, we're so used to letting the mind rule everything and it's not the boss. So I'm in my mind being like, I feel guilty. I should, I need to, everything you're saying, and then you're like, oh. So no. If I take better care of myself for the people that I do show up for, it's like they're gonna get so much better out of me, and I'm gonna feel good, and I'm gonna have good, great, positive energy. And it's it's all gonna be wonderful. And it's hard to detach from that. It is. That's that, that to me is the biggest hurdle is as you from, they would say from like the time that you first see your chart for the first time, it's like that's when the process begins and then it's like a seven year deconditioning process, meaning like you're like undoing the layers. You're, you've got seven years of exfoliation to do before you're like, hopefully like at the baseline of this is, hey, this is what it, what your skin really looks like, and then, and you're. You never really arrive. You're always, I'm deep into this and it's like there's always things, but it's amazing in even like the first year or two how much you realize like the biggest hurdle is just the mind. It's just the mind getting that out of the way. Being like, okay, I'm excited to. Take care of myself. I'm excited to go to yoga in the morning rather than go see that first patient. I'm changing my hours. And you're like, I'm actually going with my excitement. I don't know how that's going to lead me to the correct place. So there's like this suspension of disbelief that you're like. I just need to roll with this. I just need to try and see what happens. I always say it's not a, it's not a belief system. It's a science experiment. And I love that. Again, being in this field where you're like, I love the science, so yes, please. And you just play with it and see what happens. And so when you actually implement and try, and then you realize wow, okay, didn't make sense on paper, but I did it in real life. And things are actually evolving the way that they're meant to. Again, sacral people is like prioritizing your joy, your happiness in whatever form that means. We can, we we mentally can't compute how that's going to fix your life, but it will, if you do it enough, if you give it enough time, it's okay, I don't get it, but I'm gonna go with it. And then it's I don't know, do it for a little while, and see what happens. I know, I think what made me jumped through it is that I kept telling myself, I'm like, okay, I can always open it back up. Like it's okay. It's like it's not permanent. It's okay, but it, but something in my soul is like, no, you have to do this because the more I've learned, if I do, just like you said, if I do take care of myself. I show up. I'm a high end price point, so if someone's coming in my room, like I'm giving, just like you said, like a hundred percent, you and I are the same. And it's something like, I've told my husband this, like I can shut my brain off and focus just on one person, one thing. And hyper focus. Yes. And it is, and I have noticed not everyone can do that. I thought everybody could. I really did. You're your own self and as you grow up with yourself throughout this life, you're like, oh, people are so different than me. And they do things so like we're all just a bunch of weirdos, aren't we? Totally. We all just do things so differently. But I can turn off. Different parts and be like completely hyperfocused. I could be in pain, I could be sick. I could completely turn it off and not feel any of that. Yep. And focus on my person. And then once that person leaves and I go to clean the room, I feel this wave of emotions. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, okay. I have to pee. My, I'm thirsty, I'm hungry. Like, why is this a thing? Oh my gosh. I think about that frequently because again, like that's the kind of schedule that I had and back in the day and yeah. Where you'd I have to be so bad. And yet, there's no time. There's no time. No. And I wouldn't take a lunch break, all work late every single day and all of that. And, I think about it because again, we talk about this mind versus the body and that being such a core concept in design is that how much do we actively deny our body's wisdom? Something as simple as being like, bold at you don't, you can't go pee. That's. Yeah, all the time. I know I did it all the time and I'm like, wow, that is nuts. Actually, my body is like signaling, you need to do this. And my mind's yeah, no, you're busy. Yeah. It just goes, no, and it's so weird because on my days off, if I have to pee, I go immediately I'm like, no, I've shut that off all week. Uhuh, I'm not playing. Yes, but just something that silly. That's when you realize how important it is to start to pay attention to our body's intelligence. It's important. Okay, that's not good for you. Like it's actually physically not good for you to do that all the time. And I used to do it all the time'cause I'd just be working and too busy. Oh, I'm not hungry, am guilty eating disorder in the past, but it's oh, you just coffee and I coastal dinner. Where you're like, your tummy is I'm so hungry. Yes, be quiet. You're not hungry. Let's keep working. And again, as a sacral person, you're like, that's your gut speaking to you. And I'm telling it to be quiet. I'm ignoring it. I'm like shoving it down. So a lot of it and again, this is why, I think why I think that this. Is so pertinent to aesthetics. It's here we are people that are caring for the physical body and the vessel and helping people with it and you know what I'm saying? It's okay I need to help you on a deeper level, wider level than what I'm currently doing. And again, kinda can't stress the body's wisdom enough. You and I both sacral authority. If you do that and you get your chart, it'll tell you what your authority is. And then you can learn about it. Go watch the class on YouTube and stuff. But it's for you and I both, it's like I know that feeling of expansion or contraction, and the more that I'm I'm confusing myself, like I'm con my body is speaking very clearly, my mind is muddling. Everything up. So I feel like the more that I respond to my body it's just very simple things, like going to the bathroom or eating when it's necessary or, whatever. When you're hungry the better sort of everything will like, turn out because you're like, oh, I'm actually I'm letting this be the intelligence. It is and taking it for, the information that it's trying to give me, rather than letting my mind boss everything around and it gets me nowhere, it's interesting too, because in your chart you have a channel that is very much about just physically being in the right place at the right time. Okay. And not having to do anything. It's just like your physical presence is very beneficial to whomever you're around. And just. And so you're like, again, if you're denying your body of what it needs, can you, are you going to be physically where you need to? You know what I'm saying? Am I gonna be what I need to be for others? Are you gonna be what you need to be or gonna be brave? Or, for myself, you need to be thinking about others. Yeah, always. Yeah. Yeah. No but it's just is all that gonna fall into place the way that it's meant to? If your mind is busy running the show, no, probably not. Crazy. It's such a reality check, right? I've known it and so I've really, I have noticed the more and more I like try to hone into it, it is true. Like your body tells you, hey, like this is what you need and this is what you need to do for yourself. And if you don't like, unfortunately, eventually over time there are consequences. Oh, completely. And as we were chatting already, it's I. I have carpal tunnel and I hurt myself again. I inadvertently before thinking I might go back and dabble in the treatment room a bit and stuff, and I am a little bit, but I'm like in severe pain every day. Oh, I'm so sorry. No, it's okay. But I see, the body, what is my body trying to communicate to me? Then it's it's like you're, you were trying to go backwards and it's no. Yes. We're like, I'm pushing you in this direction for a reason, but I get it. It's hard. You're doing what you know and Yeah, and again. My mind says this, my mind thinks this would be a good idea. And and then the funny thing is, you're back in there and it's okay, I'm physical pain. And then the idea, it's oh, this is making my tummy go, oh, like it doesn't like it? Oh, that's right. Okay. It's, I'm being directed a certain way. I am learning to actually genuinely trust that. And just knowing, like hands off the wheel, like I'm gonna, I'm gonna wind up being guided where I need to go and things will make sense at some point. But not trying to force things. I think that's the other part too, is that everything with design gives me so much peace that if, I say to you right place, right time. You take care of your physical vessel, that's gonna work itself out. You can be like, oh, okay, so I am gonna do the, I'm gonna change the hours. I'm going to take better meals. I'm gonna, like what I listen to in the car, even on the commute. Being intentional with that so that everything is like going to toward making me feel better and be a better, like the, I shouldn't say better, the best version of myself. And then I can relax. It's okay. That's then I will be the right me at the right place in time. And it's all gonna just work itself out. Ugh. That's. Yeah. No, that's awesome. I need to, we're doing new things, right? You and I both. Yes. We're embarking on this whole new journey of, I'm going to try to work less and you are focusing on what's your next step? What's your new thing? Do you have anything up your sleeve? Any secrets you can share with us? I feel like I'm always working on so many things, I know. Same always. But again, it's all coming off that same, it's just an extension of one, one thing. What would I say? We have a move that's eminent. My husband's from Scotland and we're planning to move back and finally that's starting to. Come to fruition after a long time of wanting this to happen. And yeah okay, in your chart. There is something, and I know that you and I have talked about this, but it really has to do with your dharma or your life's purpose. So there's many things, and like I said, if you get a chart, you're like, there's a gazillion, you wouldn't know where to, you wouldn't even know where to start. But. I know how to read the charts, so there's something that has to do with your dharma or your life's purpose and that it is a like a process. I also do something called astrocartography, which is your astrology for the world. So it's okay. That's cool. I've seen that with all the lines. Yeah. Is that what that is? Okay. That's cool. It's super cool. Because again, like how I said my brain works and I'm piecing everything together, and you're like, oh, okay. Like I've helped people relocate and stuff with it, but using, there would be a traditional way to think about astrocartography that you're like, you wouldn't tell somebody necessarily to move this line or that line except then you look at it through, I do through the human design lens and I'm like, oh, that's actually tied to your prosperity and if you do this, like it's gonna be really beneficial and. That's happened. Oh, that's so cool. Okay. I'm gonna schedule that with you. That's amazing. And people love it, even for vacations and things, just places that are like, oh, I've always been drawn here. And then you find out that there's a reason that you have, like the first time I ever went to Scotland, I was 20 years old, my husband's whole family lives there. And I went and I was like, this is home. There's something about this place. At the time I didn't know I, I wasn't reading Astrocartography, it does have to do with like major prosperity for me, turns out. So that dharma thing, the life's purpose, but that I'm very big on. I don't remember don't know if you remember all the stuff I told you about yours, but for me you wanna get super specific. It has to do with a placement in the chart that is literally called retreat. They live on a little island. It's so off the beaten path, like it is so remote and it really is like a retreat and that is like lowkey. My dream is to have something that's like that. Like I know how much I love to just go and be away from the world. It's in me, right? That is what this particular placement gives you in your design. If you're, if you have that, it's actually an energy that like. Would indicate a person needs a lot of alone time and I'm very much that person. There're specific ones. I feel that Yes. It's how I recharge. So I don't know if you're the same. Yeah. That's how I recharge. Gotta go. And so I, I just know how valuable that is and being in, in a place that is so that just the nature itself is so healing and yeah. That's something that I would really love to do long term is oh, I'm excited for you. All of the healing. Yeah. I feel like that's going to open you to so many new ideas and new things. Definitely. Yeah. My husband being in the military, like we've moved so many different places and I felt like every time was terrifying, scary, but I became the, a better version of myself, yeah. Yep. Right place, right time, right place, right time. There we go. Yeah. Which is so cool. That's so crazy. Yeah. Yeah. So it's so I'm working on that and like I said, put up classes on YouTube the other day, and I think just. I, one of my friends has said stuff before and I really love this concept of, rather than that constant okay, we all, we got always gotta be producing more and new and everything. And I'm very much generators, we churn out the work like nobody's business. Like again, when we do. Yes, but just yep. Could do it all the time. But is, and this is coming from a projector, so if somebody who's wise that sees the game and is like to go back, circle back and actually support creations that you already have, and I was like whoa. That's, she told me that a couple years ago. I know. And it, so it like bounces around in my head sometimes and I'm like, that's right. What if I did that? Those videos I put up, I still wanna rerecord like the beginning and I'm gonna tinker with them, but. They're a few years old and I was like. Yeah, why not just still print these up? They're still great. Oh, totally. I still have watched mine and the workbook I got from you, I'm obsessed with it. Oh. And like the video like goes like together. Oh. I had mine printed.'cause I love my workbook so much I printed it. Yeah I'll have to grab it and show you at the end of this. I have it like right over here. Oh, thank you. Oh, that makes me so happy. Yes. And that's the whole point of those so have the PDFI am. Sometimes where you say things and you're like, okay do I wanna say my trifecta, my Trifacta? Okay. So it's like I have been working on a book. That has to do with all of this, but again, through the lens of beauty and like taking care of yourself. Oh my gosh. If you ever want someone to support you, I'm here. I would love to best. I think that would be absolutely be oh my gosh. I think that'd be great though. My, what I see, so like I said, I have a trifecta, but it's it's all like the same stuff. And that's, the retreats is kinda like the pinnacle. Yeah. But to help people through that because. It's like how just individual is that you can just pick up a book and take it home and be like, learn about yourself and how to better take care and love on yourself. But I have to say, because all of my people are in this industry, I'm like, oh, I wanna see like my book on the shelf next to your products. And, like that, it's it's right there with it. And, oh, you can go watch this video. Go watch your video on YouTube about yourself. I just, I don't know. Like I, I'm. Just wanting and trying to find ways to support people in. Like almost an in the book. The book is something physical, but mo most of everything that I really do is like very intangible, the Yoga natures are the meditations that I create and I love them. All the stuff. Yeah. Thank you. You're welcome. But I feel like we are moving more and more, the more technological we get in this society, the more people are craving that spirituality, they're craving more to understand their body. So like I do a lot of, because I used to do nutrition, I do a lot of, inside out work in a different way. And there are things where I like. I feel like someone will leave and I'll clear their skin and their digestive health is doing better. You know what I mean? And we have answers to a lot of things, but. If they're still having anxiety or they're still maybe not understanding this leap or this curve and just to have this overall, I really do think in the future, this overall 360 wellness, and I think you're tapping into that because I think our society is going into it like the Yes. I think people are realizing like how important that is, that it's like, again, you can have the perfect skin, you can have the perfect outfit, whatever. But it's if something is still lacking, internally, it, you can't deny that. So we'll tell you this. So obviously my podcast is super extensive because it goes through all 64 gates. And so one that I'm talking about, that's my Dharma. I've spoken about this and so how I really envision all of it is that. I want to have an energetic beauty pharmacy. It's my medical background, so I love that. I think that's amazing. The third piece that I didn't include, as I said, my little trifecta is like potentially, this is not like an immediate thing because I just, there's, it's an idea is it's feeling, yeah. And always the push and pull of who's ready for it yet? Do you know what I mean? Like that sort of feeling, but. The third that, that third thing would be to train people, ideally aestheticians, and not to read a chart. I'm like, we don't need more human design readers. But how I said reading as lab results and how can I actually use this to help you and help you heal inside and out. And our, I think our work marries so beautifully with this, I think so too. Personally. Yes. But I've always seen it as okay, I can teach you things to do in the treatment room, but everything that I have outside of it that you can refer your client to go watch that video. Go read that book. Go, go do this to me. It's the therapy that's going to carry you between appointments. From treatment to treatment with you, the provider. So it's I think it's beautiful. It's almost dare I say reiki, but in a totally different way. Does that make sense? Yeah. Yeah. It's energy work in and of itself, and I get done with people. I'm like, okay, listen to this episode, that episode dah. I want you to do this, and this is the physical medicine that I want you to do, and everything. And it's it's just that way of continuing the whole process. It's the home care, that you get between these appointments. So I don't know. To me, I'm like somehow tapping into that of okay, my aestheticians, if we can make this. Work and like you don't have to be the expert in this. But you need to know enough and then, you know what I'm saying? Connect to people like, no, I think that's beautiful. Yeah. I. I love it. This is that medication can really connect. Yeah. And you can, be like, Hey, here's some links here. If it some things to refer. It's just like whenever I say, Hey, these supplements X, Y, z fit, like this result. Exactly. You know what I mean? Exactly As to why we need to do this. I think it's the same for your soul, just like you said, medicine for your soul. Completely. So that, that I'm excited about, again, just okay, everything in, in its time, however it's supposed to happen, but. Oh, I'm excited for you. I'm excited for all the new things you're gonna have. I think you're gonna kill it with Yeah, with like spirituality and with skin and skincare and everything. First off, if you guys are not seeing the video, which I would like to upload on Spotify you are stunning. Mikayla looks amazing, so her skin looks great. Like I have to know what are your, like top things Like do you reach for. Does your routine change when you're feeling like a certain way or do you keep it about the same? Are you more aesthetic approach or are you more spiritual approach whenever it comes to your skincare? I, my skin is super duper sensitive. Like super sensitive so I don't change up things too much. Like once I know something works, then you know, we stick with it. Yeah, not a lot of deviation. I love for seizures. Like I love IPL. Oh my goodness, I love ran. Did my last. Cool people who did like the DECA Duo. Oh yeah. You did that around your eyes, right? Oh, we did the whole thing. I really wanted to do that. I love beautiful. So the, yeah, stuff like that. I love microneedling, I love all those things, but I'm, but now I view it as it's the cherry on top, but with skin I definitely, again, medical background, it's like I love the hardcore stuff and I used to be very anti, if it looked pretty or it smelled good or any, ugh. It's fluff. Like I don't want that, gimme the serious stuff. And I still want the serious performance stuff. But I work with brand Little Fox and it's clean, it's. It's amazing. No, it's, I just, no's a beautiful line. I used some of their products. It's really nice. It's, they put a lot of thought, I feel like, into their formulation. There's a lot of intention. Everything, it's all in the violet glass and everything's luxurious and heavy and it does, it like, comes out and you can like, hear it go the like with the glass. And like everything that I was like, oh no. There's stuff in our charts. Again, I'm like, everything goes back to the chart. But it, but that, it's like I've always been somebody, like I said, eating disorder. Like I've been really hard on myself for so much of my life and didn't allow myself to enjoy things. And so that's where I think now at 43 being like, I come from a different mindset. Yes. Do I still get my talks? And yes, do I still use my Taz Rack? Absolutely. But it's all supplemented by, very natural and very what I feel like good for me, not just physically, but good for my soul type of stuff. To take the nice baths and to, moisturize the body and everything. And in a way that's not like. A chore or I am just slapping it on doing it in a way that feels very loving is different. It's like in the last few years I've really moved more into that mindset. So I. Yeah. Lots more body attention than I ever probably gave it in the past. Hey, that's good though. You gotta help your cortisol levels, you gotta help with stress. Yes. And I do think because I'm on the medical side as well. But I love I've always loved facial massage. I've always loved like giving, just like I've always combined it like a medical treatment. And then with a little bit of love, if I have someone numbing, yes. I'm usually giving them aout massage or, or I'm sitting there with them and I'm making sure we're going intensely over things, to make sure they're comfortable. Like it's, I don't just leave the room, yeah. Like I, I'm there with them throughout it, and I think that there is something to be said about when. I don't know how we're tying this into the treatment room. Somehow I have. But you just, like you're saying how you're starting to take care of everything. I think it's the same thing where if you're an aesthetician, like you have to take care of yourself. You have to do these things because if not, at the end of the day, you're gonna burn out and you also have to overperform because we are in a saturated industry, totally. Totally. Like what, so this is where I think the chart what sets you apart energetically And then also yeah. How can you be just that much more, it's funny that you think about a scalp massage while you're numbing. So the yoga nras that I produce that puts you into this very deep delta state that, talk about like cortisol, all of that, it's so crazy. Puts you into it's just peaceful. So restful. There's so much science to support this now, thank goodness. And I've told people, I'm like, if your person's numbing for half an hour. That's, you need to put this on for them oh my gosh, I'm gonna do it. It's, they're gonna be so much easier to work on like truly. They're truly worse then because we've all had that person where I've gone to treat them and they're like, this treatment hurts so much more than last time. And they may be around the same. Part in their cycle, so it's not, their period or ovulation. And I'm like, and you can't just flat out tell them you just told me like you're getting a divorce, or your son's doing bad in school and you've been having to pick him up. There's. So many factors here with stress, and it does contribute to everything that we do. Our beauty skin our inside out, beauty it all goes together. It's all stress related, so it's all stress, every no truly right? You're like, oh, that's, it's gonna break you out. It's gonna do all the things. It's gonna give you wrinkles and all that. So I'm very much about finding all the ways to, to de-stress. Like what are the tools and yeah, so doing that, okay, we're gonna microneedles, I'm numbing you. And you're like, all right, it is gonna take this long anyway. Why not pop this on and let the person just totally go into that parasympathetic state. There's nothing worse than somebody who can't sit still and you're like, I wanna give you the best treatment and if you keep moving, I can't do that. So I'm like, this is a nice little workaround, to help them. And the crazy thing is that it will help them heal faster as well. Yes. cause they're worse then they're less inflammation. All of it is, it actually causes your brain to reduce delta waves. And that means like tissue regeneration, cell growth, cytokines, like no joke. Like this actually is incredible aging, and it's just listening to something. It's not a meditation technically it's its own thing, it's a whole process. But it's like they're about half an hour long. It's we all need, you're gonna numb. Numb in our life. Yes. Yes ma'am. I call it energetic beauty sleep. That's what I put out because I put the frequencies in the background and special like beauty, affirmation words and things to reprogram your subconscious. But yeah, no, that's. That's amazing. That's beautiful. It's about to cut us off. McKayla, it was amazing to have you on. Thank you so much again. You are incredible. And you guys all have to check her out.
